Caine has been coaching for over 25 years.  He raced around the world as a professional athlete for over 6 years in the 90s, specializing in long course racing.  He raced and trained with medaling Olympic athletes and many other well-known professionals of the era.  His coaching methodology began whilst studying Exercise Physiology and Cell Biology and Genetics at James Cook University. Caine's coaching journey lead him to seek out leaders in athletic performance. He has been very fortunate to have worked directly with,  and influenced by those leaders. Notable mention would be Arthur Lydiard, Brett Sutton, Jon Hinds, JC Santana, Dr. Stuart McGill, Joe Friel, Gordon Byrn  and his own knowledge gathered while being a professional athlete and coach.  He has coached over 30 athletes to compete for their respective countries at World Championships.  Caine has coached elite and age group athletes to PR performances at state, provincial, national and international levels. Ashley is a certified trisutto.com coach with 10+ years experience in triathlon training and racing, endurance cycling and ultra running.  She has podiumed in over 85% of the events she has raced as an age group athlete under the direction of Caine and his methodologies. She moved into coaching and uses methods inspired by Brett Sutton, Arthur Lydiard and Caine to build her programs.  Ashley has a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing through the University of Manitoba, and has worked as a Registered Nurse for over 18 years.  She is a Certified Holistic Health Coach with a focus on sports nutrition and weight management.  Ashley, came into triathlon while returning to health after a significant weight gain and back injury.
